The awards won included the prestigious ‘Services Partner of the Year’ award in recognition of the telecoms company’s high commitment to customer assurance with Cisco services. Darren Lemon, General Manager of eir Business NI collected the award for ‘Win of the Year’ with partners Capita for the ground-breaking C2K win in Northern Ireland where Cisco technology takes centre stage in the classroom of the future. The project ‘Classroom 2000 (C2K)’ is the first of its kind in the Country and involves the supply of cloud and internet based ICT technologies allowing 1200 schools and 350,000 students across Northern Ireland to access central repository education materials.
